I think the most important is: can you waste your time in simple time-consuming activities like movies, series, games kpop or you would regret spending your life for that later. i.e. the simplest version of hedonism vs achieving some goals in life

the problem is that first seems more attractive (and you should do what you want)

but time is irreplaceable entity, you have just single life so if you do a bad choice now later you most likely won't be able to fix it

so basically it's a problem of managing resource (time/life) in a most efficient way and it kills me

hm, yeah, I think that's my pain point: I can only pay 100% attention to the thing I'm currently doing

I can't do several things at once because I'm afraid I wouldn't be as productive as if I was focused only on one thing

so I'm focusing on hedonism stuff and afraid to improve my life by a tiny bit because (I think) that won't be very efficient

even if I force myself to work on several things, it's still a massive pain when I look at what other people do (much better than me) and I make conclusion that I should either focus on it (100% of time) or just drop it completely (0% time)

but you can't be #1 anyway so why would I worry so much about doing not so well compared to others. might just try a bit

last time I was on a trip there were a lot of rain and view from the skyscrapers (paid one) was bad

also sometimes you can visit some local events and those may happen at random intervals, i.e. there were 10 in August but 5 in September so you had 50% less chance to visit one. that requires a lot of planning to avoid and still you get FOMO when you got home and watch video on youtube about some new event you missed

this, plus the cost of the trip, plus management hell makes me want to abandon traveling completely
