they went to this farm by a lake in hokkaido. it has a cozy cafe and they sell self-made icecream there year-round. in the series it was a full snowy scene and it was beautiful

You grew up with something like Unreal Tournament. You can download hundreds of maps and mods for free, even play it indefinitely with bots. Then, you contrast it with how restrictive modern games are with their content and expensive DLCs for maps, you can't help but feel how it is a downgrade.
I guess it is still cheaper than getting a laptop. Not sure how demanding more games are. Do you really need top of the line stuff or it will be sufficient to get something cheaper and it will work fine with details toned down?
