Watched Evil Dead Rise (2023). Was sceptical when I saw Raimi nether Alvarez directed the film but I gotta say it is very well made. Although, it could take itself a little less seriously. The franchise is known to be more darkly humorous. Good film regardless, especially when Bruce Campbell has retired from playing Ash.

When you think about it, it is kinda strange that its signature style and what the franchise is perceived as is only present in 2 and Ash vs Evil Dead.
First one, 2013 and Rise are more violent whereas Army of Darkness is more comedic.
