Would watch it for IU anyways. He is not directing the Signal sequel though. The woman who wrote it is returning. Hope they salvage it. The show had perfect ending but the last episode went for 40 more minutes introducing new plot lines and not resolving them (for a decade).

Based on kchanon's recommendation, I watch Contagion (2011). Solid disaster movie with big name cast kinda predicting few events. Sadly, Kate Winslet is not that much in the movie. Other characters like Lawrence Fishboune's would benefit from getting more fleshed out.

also I don't like that the elves are just the better version of every other race. this bothers me in every world with elves like that. humans, orcs and dwarves have their niches and are pretty much balanced


imo elves should get a blanket nerf like for example

Elves were the first race created to inherit the Arda and humans were created as second lesser race

The dwarves were created by different Valar who didn't want to wait for the Elves and Humans to awaken and created a race on his own, but they were incapable of consciousness until Eru gave them proper life

And orcs were Elves twisted by evil originally so it makes sense they'd be weaker

Meanwhile humans shall have wizardry over physical stuff like gravity and they should be the only ones to have access to holy and dark magic like healing priests and reviving necromancers

you know what I dislike most about the third movie, except for the dumb superior elves and the shitty feminist fantasy eowyn? the damn ghost army. it totally ruins that battle. what is the point of anything? the ghost army would've won that battle by itself. frankly, it could've probably simply walked into mordor since sauron doesn't have physical form and can't magic kill them
