yeah, all money has to be invested in some form or another, obviously there are different allocation profiles based on risk management but if you need the money in 5 years for a house i wouldnt have more than 30-40% of it in the market hoping it will moon, seems like a good and conservative enough threshold keeping the 60-70 out of volatile markets
