The creators knew they had no way of continuing at the same level of quality of the beginning so they leaned fully into the silly territory as people were already making fun of the show. 3 Jugheads.Honestly, it is kinda admirable. In age when studios play everything safe, you have an American television paying a lot of money to fund 7 long seasons of this fever dream. Still have sometimes doubts the show is actually real.

People really like Yokohama's Shopping Log miniseries. It is about 2 hours in total. Melancholic vibes of post-apocalyptic world where characters just chill enjoying the moments as they may be the last generation of humanity. Kinda boring at times, but fits the bill.
Finished Spellbound (2011). A pretty good romantic comedy with a horror flavour. A street magician hires a mysterious woman to participate in his performances and makes it big. Sometime later, they slowly grow fond of each other. The problem to their relationship being she is actually haunted by a ghost of her dead friend which makes her socially isolated and everyone else fear her. The script is pretty funny, carried by Seo Yejin as MC delivering fun quirky romance story with a bit of drama on the side.

Despite all the talk about these movies being low effort, which often came with the continuous sequels, the originals are genuinly impressive. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Black Christmas etc.

Kim Doahs new drama starts airing in december. they just started shooting. it's gonna be 40 epis, which is quite a lot for a new kdrama. usually they do 10-15 epis and expand the number once they see a good reception

Same. Kinda impressed she remembers and can pronounce some of the silly names dad gave to the cats.
The 2nd one is pretty good but the 6th one is the good stuff, fully embracing the cheesy nature of the story. For all hate the 7th gets, it is fun Jason vs. not-Carrie movie.
