Well, it worked when Netflix had everything. They refocused on original projects and many of them being successful and the company is still growing. Others are not doing well. Like Disney. Good chunk of its subscribers are Indians paying 1 dollar per month to watch cricket tournaments. And flooding their franchises instead of new original projects devalued their core IPs.
I guess some do but would probably be completely different take on the subject like Sono following Suicide Club by entirely different Noriko's Dinner Table.
Yeah, little free time and pretty demanding, especially when they will be taking care of baby and son that will be little older. As much as it must be stressful, I guess you replace free time with fullfillment. Haven't seen her as happy as when she was carrying her son, walking front one side of the appartment to another based on where he pointed.

what to watch tonight...
Finished Genie, Make a Wish (2025). This was surprisingly amazing drama about a girl who was abandoned by her family as a child as she was born with psychopatic tendencies and was left to grow up with her grandma. As an adult, she travels to Dubai to confront her family and on her trip stumbles on a magic lamp housing a genie. Malicious genie instantly recognizes her as a reincarnation of the girl whose kindness caused him to be imprisoned for 1000 years. As per bet with God, he needs to corrupt her morals or face eternal damnation. Yet, it will be no easy feat.
The show is primarily a romantic comedy. The comedy is very silly but found myself often genuenly chuckling at the jokes. As a romance, it manages to pull of multiple emotionally touching moments. As a fantasy, it feels pretty stylized but also very cheesy. Not for everyone but I like the strangeness of it all.
The central core of this show is Ka-jong, played by Suzy, the loveliest woman. Her condition leaves her unable to feel most emotions and is often ostracized by others. Yet, despite all this, you can clearly see she cares in her own subtle ways about people and things, sometimes desperatly latching onto rules to stay in the line, and do what she believes is right. Her stern personality and occassional prones to violence are effectively used for comedic effects.
Another strong point is Kim Woo-bin role as Iblis, the malicious Saitan. Starting off the story as quite an edgelord, he tries to understand the current world after his imprisonment which leads to many funny situations (like demonstrating he understands the concept of police by calling them on himself). As he spends time with Ka-jong and others, he slowly starts to care (leading to hilarious lines akin to "There is something wrong happening with me. I don't even feel amuzed by misery of others"). And his edgy nature neatly contrasts with the over-the-top shinenigans he performs as he often really fears that woman. Great chemistry.
As the bond between them develops, maybe, just maybe the psychopath will finally feel something and in the same way, she may melt devil's cold heart. The mystery surrounding their previous interactions and corresponding flashback adding much more to it.
Overall, this show has a few problems but it will definitely take one of the top positions in my 2025 watched drama list.

I would recommend Lost (2004) which till this day remains as one of the most kino TV shows America has ever produced.
