I have to carefully click between the videos so I can scroll down and half the time I accidentally activate some preview popout play and having to maneuver away for it to close. many other sites are even worse, like the facebook streaming site, can't even hover over the chat window without a huge popout opening asking me to login.
I think it all stems from the mobile first approach that has been a mantra for 10 years now. it doesn't matter that every space is used on a mobile phone because you can touch scroll etc and you have to use all space for it to work spacially.

going through a decent amp gets you a significant imrpovement in sound clarity, detail and dynamics, and it enables you to take advantage of high end headphones which all require an amp. it doesn't make sense to me to pay 300$ for phones that don't take advantage of one. electronic music gets the most benefit and pop music probably the least but from my understanding an expensive amp isn't really worth it so I don't see why you wouldn't spend the extra ~100$ unless you're tight on money.

I looked for quite a while for a cordless one tbh, but almost all of them are meant to be worn outside so they have a closed design. didn't find one that qualified.

I prefer no socks unless my feet are getting cold
