browser would take long to load and it would load some previous state of folders and files, even in incognito or trying with another browser
megasync desktop for windows would just get stuck at the end for hours and not open at all
iphone took long to load but somehow it was able to gradually show the newer folders, i was able to delete the dumb folders with too many files on cloud and then generate links from my phone to the folders, save them locally by megasyncing through a different account
eventually after deleting so much from cloud it seems to have gotten back to normal for browser loading at least

I have no clues how these things work, but wouldn't the biggest problem with this many pictures be the thumbnails? Like there is some cache needed to keep them and it just runs out. I know in windows file explorer the whole thing starts bearking down at around 10k pictures in one folder
